VMA has been around now for 15yrs with some people on our books since the beginning, we are currently having a clean up as when we have unreliable people it impacts everyone
We have requirements for each sector we cover eg fashion models need to be a certain height, actors need to be able to actually act and have the material in place so we can pt them out as professionals
However it is our TVC work, the work we love the most due to the pay rates ($250- $80,000) for commercials that we are opening or books for
The requirements for TVC work is straight forward 1st we need images, they dont have to be professional because the casting directors want to see what you actually look like
The second important thing is comp cards due to the fact most TVCs are cast from Hard copy submissions now we have seen some shockers come through the door which we have refused to stamp so to keep or people uniformed and looking professional we send the material through to graphic designers to have the comp cards set which does cost you $60,we also ask that you pay for 3 courier satchels in advance which is normally $7.50 for one hour couriers in return for you paying your own costs for comp cards and courier VMA is happy to waiver the registration costs put into place to keep the people away that wake up in the morning with the bright idea of listing with every agency in the country
Submissions for TVC are normally done within 2-4 hours of getting the brief in so it is a very speedy process and auditions are normally within three days of submissions being delivered and filming normally within a couple of weeks after that, there are some TVCs that will require extra info about conviction history and traffic offences which are the LTSA ads,
