Is it kidnap? Is it conspiracy? Is it murder?
SYNOPSIS:
When the Blackman Corporation -- one of the biggest arms manufacturers in the world -- holds a press conference, the world listens. When they say that a security guard has been kidnapped by two rogue scientists, the world believes. Thousands of miles away, Victor Quinn wakes up to find himself stranded in the desert with two scientists. All three claim to be innocent. Over the course of a tumultuous five days, how and why they came to be in the desert begins to form an intricate web of lies and deceit drawn together by one experiment: the Alpha 24 project.
Short film (approx 25 mins). We're aiming for the 2011 festival circuit. The roles of Victor Quinn and Gabriel Harman will be required over the Easter long weekend (shooting at Stockton beach), and all roles will be required in mid-April for Sydney shoots.

Mid to late 20s. Athletic. Was dishonorably discharged from the Australian Special Forces 2 years prior. Was employed by Blackman Corporation soon after that. A highly trained and confident man with a knack for concealing the truth.

Gabriel Harman
Males, aged 20 to 35 from New South Wales, Aus
Biological engineer for the Blackman Corporation. He is naturally skeptical, however is a tragic fatalist. Very intelligent and perceptive.

Any gender, aged 25 to 40 from New South Wales, Aus
Spokesman for the Blackman Corporation. Confident and in control. Minor role.

The Commander
Males, aged 35 to 60 from New South Wales, Aus
Former military. Strong, uncompromising and intimidating. Minor role.
