Surrealistic film inspired in some spanish film directors, i.e., Luis Buñuel and Carlos Saura. the story is inspired in Carmen, the novel: When Don Jose, a Spanish officer, falls for the gypsy girl Carmen, his world crumbles as he is wound deeper into an obsessive, jealous spell
Its also inspired in the Classical cinema, that's why most of the scenes will be in silent and Black and White. This is also an approach to films like "The Artist".

The film includes images like the ones Carlos Saura portraits in his flamenco trilogy, that's why our actress should be a dancer too. (Flamenco or Contemporary dance)
Dancing won't be necessary for the two male actors.

no-budget short film, therefore we don't have resources to pay although we all hope that at some point this short could lead to a feature film. For the moment we intend to send it to festivals.
