A teenage skateboarder heads to their local half pipe in order to clear their head of the torment of modern life.

A narrative led commercial, 2 minutes long and shot on 16mm film

Whilst being able to skateboard would be an advantage for the applicant, it only involves 1 shot of any actual skating, and is more about the fact that skating can be used as an escapism.

Imagine Gus Van Sant's Elephant (for character) meets Friday Night Lights TV (for style) and Fish Tank (for Story).

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
