Overview:
A raucous reworking of “Hamlet” using many other Shakespearean quotes to feed and complicate the story - “Romeo and Juliet”, “Macbeth”, and others are all drawn upon skilfully. This production will be set in New Zealand in the late 1970s / early 1980s to tie in with the strong, now slightly anachronistic, feminist messages.

While there are 19 characters in the play, there is great capacity for multiple roles to be played by the cast, with a minimum of 9 cast members required. There is huge breadth to play as big or as small a part as desired.

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
