Absent: The Game
---------

Absent is a story which follows the character of young-adult and college student, Murray Schull. He and his two best friends, Eve and Steve, attend a college in which students are disappearing daily. It’s up to them to find out how this is happening, why this is happening, protect their other friends, and to put a stop to it once and for all.

These series of events began when Crystal, a three month girlfriend of Murray’s friend, Steve, disappeared on her way home from college via mysterious means. Over the course of the investigation, however, Murray realises that what stole Steve’s girlfriend was not anything of this earth. Murray is haunted by visions, confronted with puzzles, with friends turning against each other, and all for one reason. The Reaper.

In September 2010, I released the first part (of three intended parts) to the world. "Absent: Part I - Innocent Until Proven Guilty". It proved to be a success amongst the adventure gaming community and they were eager to see where the story was going to progress from here.

Well, here's where you come in! Not only will the first part be re-released this summer, but so will the other two parts, in one full-length package! And not only that, but the game will contain full voice acting! Or at least...with some help, it will!

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Crystal (Main Character)

Crystal is Steve's girlfriend. She has a large imagination and an open mind. She is regarded by others as weird. Crystal is rather timid, but when needed, she can show her "louder" side.
Crystal has approximately 250 lines of dialogue as well as a moment in the game when her character takes centre stage.
(Please don't be put off by the amount of dialogue lines. Most of them can be breezed through or even combined.)

Females, aged 16 to 24 from United Kingdom

Minimum Acting experience: Previous unpaid speaking roles
Attended drama school: Yes

Receptionist (Tertiary Character)

The receptionist at the college is a timid, quiet, slightly paranoid woman. She has grown used to the college over the last twenty-five years, and with an element of sadness, she must leave her job.

Females, aged 40 to 65 from United Kingdom

Lloyd (Secondary Character)

Lloyd is one of the most popular students at college, but he's also a tad bigheaded as he talks down to others. Ever since the disappearence of his best friend, however, he hasn't quite been the boastful voice that he once was.
Lloyd has approximately 120 lines of dialogue.
