A small independent production house, Wagsword Entertainment, is currently developing a project and is looking for art department. The budget is small, and cast and crew are working for no pay on this one, unfortunately, but its a brilliant concept that we feel some people would love to be a part of. It is a great chance to develop the portfolio in a real world situation on a concept that those involved are ecstatic to be working on.

It's a pilot for a drama series by the name of Progeny. The show's premise is this;

We follow supernatural detective Zac Evans and his partner Karen Wheeler through their investigations in a stylized version of Sydney gone awry. The pilot centers around a mutilated teen found dead, bearing Evan's name carved into her back, and weaves itself into a neo-noir tale that takes us to the corners of the world, and into the underbelly of Australian society. In the shadow of this tale is Lucifer, the Devil, who has grown weary of death and destruction and wants out. Creating son Evans to serve as replacement, Evans wants nothing to do with the family business, but even so, some actions, seemingly innocent, can have far reaching and disastrous consequences. Why is evil important, and how could a good God allow it to exist? Evans is the answer and the question, as he tries to figure out his place in the universe, making up for his heritage, struggling with his dark side, all the while dealing with Lucifer's attempts to make him seize the throne. But there is an unrest rising, a chaos growing, and as the season progresses, Evans will find himself smack-bang in the middle.

If successfully sold, those working in the pilot will be first choice for a continued role in the TV series. Shoot dates are to be confirmed, but at present it looks like principal photography will occur over a period of 3-4 weeks, probably over August and September.
