The Mrs Australasia Postie Bike Pageant is a week long charity event that will have entrants riding Postie Bikes from Yalara (near Uluru) to Darwin. We will be stopping at the small communities along the way and hosting evening events for the locals and tourists. The aim of this event is to deliver the message that 'despite the isolation, you are not alone.'

We will be raising money for Women In Need of Australia and Project Dovetail. These charities help women that have suffered from abuse and disadvantaged children in Australia and Internationally. All of the funds raised will go back into the community.

A photographer and camera person is required to capture all of the crazy antics along the way. As this is a charity event, we would ask you to volunteer, but all accommodation (camping) and most meals will be catered for. You may even be able to go in one of the cars on the trip so that you don't have to pay fuel costs. Just think of it as an Outback holiday/adventure!!

We would really appreciate hearing from you and would love if you were willing to participate in this event. It is going to be great fun with great people, live music everynight, games, talent quests, giveaways and good old aussie adventure.

The ride starts in Yalara on the 6th July 2012 and ends with a concert at the Darwin Ski Club on the 14th July 2012.
