We are looking for a lighting technician to help us on our short which will be submitted to the Virgin Media Shorts competition.

The short is two minutes long.

Must have own lighting equipment.

The plot is centered around a young couple who bring a puppy into their lives, but they realise the reality of looking after a dog is much more difficult as they underestimate the time, effort and love that goes into providing a home for the dog. As the relationship breaks down the couple pay less and less attention to the dog until the girlfriend leaves and the dog is put into a shelter.

We are looking to highlight awareness in dog ownership and also to back a campaign for Staffordshire Bull Terriors which Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is currently running.

The location itself is set in Battersea. We are looking to film this Friday on the 15th June for one day only, which will be between 5-8 hours.

The short has scenes spread over various days and we would require the lighting technician to be able to create various different lighting for the room, day, evening, night etc.

We realise this is short notice but would be extremely grateful if we had the help of a professional lighting technician as we feel the film would lack a great amount of quality without it.

We are unable to provide a wage or travel expenses but can provide food, drink and showreel material.
