I have a small baby and am loving dancing with him whilst he can be lifted. I hope to create a piece which involves creating the image of beautiful movement with a content, Happy and giggling baby. The research is in aid of showing how we can still enjoy life and be ourselves with baby in tow.
If you love to move with your baby and your baby responds to your dance, music and movement with gladness then please contact me ASAP. My choreographic background is Contemporary, Ballroom and Ballet but I am open to all styles to give a full bodied approach. There is no payment involved at the moment but hopefully the piece once on film can be launched for funding or future live performances. If all fails at least we will have a lasting memory of Dancing with our Baby. The project involves three rehearsals and filming in the first two weeks of July 2012.
