Emirates Woman, the biggest-selling women's glossy in the Gulf want to hear from models, photographers and other fashion industry experts to get their opinion on whether airbrushing in magazines and adverts is acceptable. Do you think airbrushing is essential to create the glossy, aspirational look people want to see when they pick up a mag. Or do you think setting up role models when these ‘models’ we see aren’t even authentic is flawed? How is it affecting society? Are we now becoming more demanding with our looks and the looks of people we socialise with. How is it affecting models and stars that grace the magazines – is it forcing them to loss weight, turn to surgery etc? Whatever your viewpoint, we would love to hear from you. Please send your name, age, job title and a brief outline of your opinion on whether airbrushing is acceptable or not.
