I am a professional drummer currently based in the West Yorkshire area looking to create my own jazz trio drawing key influences from bands such as SFJazz Collective, Esbjorn Svensson Trio, Bad Plus, Herbie Hancock, The Roots, Michel Camilo etc. I initially want to get a solid bassist and keys player involved and go from there, rearranging standards and other tunes in a similar way that SFJazz Collective have done as well as eventually composing some original tunes. Long term - tours, nationally and internationally, record, and grow as a band - maybe add some horns or a guitar to the mix!

As this is a project I am wishing to create from scratch there won't be any pay, just love for the music and creativity. I can however offer a free rehearsal space near Huddersfield.
