We are Bad Pollyanna who have been described as 'succulent, female fronted rock with an industrial edge.' We have gigged all over the country and have supported The Birthday Massacre and headlined the infamous Halloween Vampire Ball in Whitby to name but a couple of achievements. We are a very ambitious band and now that we have management we are looking to complete the line up after a hiatus from the scene and move onwards and upwards.

Auditions will generally take place in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire where we also have a free rehearsal space or in London with our manager present. However, we will make exceptions and do Skype auditions and travel for rehearsals for the perfect band member.

We are looking for someone with:

Professional standard ability
Professional gear
A strong image (looks like a rock star or at least willing to be styled like one for shows)
Lots of ambition and enthusiasm
A great work ethic (candidates will likely already know that being in an originals band involves ALOT of work offstage including promotional activities, rehearsals, writing sessions etc.)

Preference will be given to candidates who:

Have their own transport
Have strong Backing Vocals
Are willing to put ots of time into the running and promotion of the band offstage

We already have gigs booked from early September (we can use dep if the right musician cannot be found in time).

Note: We are looking for a band member NOT a session musician. Our manager wouldn't be working with us if he didn't think there would be financial compensation further down the line but for now this should not be considered paid work as everything we make will go back into the running of the band.
