I’m a guitarist looking to do some Acoustic covers with a female vocalist in Melbourne. I think it is much more marketable and easier to get gigs with female vocals.

I’m looking to do this as a very laid back thing. Café afternoon/evening work etc, with rehearsals when needed. I work during the day and teach a couple of nights a week so I am not looking for ‘the next big thing’, just wanting to make a few bucks and have some fun. I want to start it up when the weather gets a bit better, that way we will have a good 3 Months to get a set list together, have a few rehearsals and record a demo (I have a home Studio that is more than capable of producing a professional quality demo)

I am 30 and based in St Kilda. I am originally from London but am resident here now. I have been playing for 20 years and am confident with my ability. A set list can be made up when I have the right people involved as it will mainly be based around what you can sing. I am versatile and open minded to play whatever. Again, I am not looking for an intricate, Prog band to dream up creative structures!! I am looking to do some acoustic covers with tunes people know. Both old and new, from Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones to Beyonce and Alicia Keys.

Singers with a PA would be preferred and if you can play acoustic as well then great, if not it really doesn’t matter.
