Pirates of the Nile is a Funk Rock/Metal band from Rotorua, New Zealand. We are looking for a new singer to become our 4th family member! Singer does not have to live in Rotorua but must be able to attend weekly (or bi-weekly depending-this can and will be be arranged if necessary) rehearsals and be into bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and funky lively music. We do have a slight theme too, so do be open to rocking out shirtless and not being afraid of what people think. Must be open to singing particular lyrics (*or words- yes possibly including swearing or explicit content)

We won the "Rotorua has Talent" competition for 2011, and are well known around the Rototua area. (we have had two major newspaper article about us very recently and been in the paper a total of around 4-5 times) WE ARE A VERY MUSICALLY TIGHT BAND. If you are intersted in becoming the full time lead vocalist for this up and coming band, we would love to audition you and see what you have! Singer must be good at working in a group and writing material (as thats what we do, write our own songs), be first and foremost a good singer! :) but being able to rap would be good as well.
