Harry Meredith has just finished touring with the Forever Michael UK Concert Tour. He was the Musical Director and Drum Kit player for the show.
Harry studied at the Royal Northern College of Music where he received a scholarship to study percussion and was also the Vice President for Community and Welfare. His versatility as a musician means that he recorded and performed with RNCM's Big Band, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Orchestra and Brass Band, playing with world-renowned artists such as Guy Barker and Rob Buckland. He has also played the role of Prince Charming in an innovative production of Sondheims Into The Woods at the RNCM in 2010.
Harry has studied percussion with Dave Hassel, Simone Robello and Ian write as well as participating in master classes with Victor Mendoza and Arthur Lipner. Recently, Harry performed with the internationally acclaimed Halle Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall, playing a reworking of Wagner's Ring. He also regularly plays with Slaithwaite Philharmonic and the Sinfonia of Leeds.
Harry has also enjoyed several wonderful solo opportunities, including performing as a soloist in Bonham, a drum kit concerto featured in the Rouse Festival and performing the soloistic drum kit part in Bernsteins Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.
Harry plays with a number of function bands utilising his skills as both a Kit player and a Percussionist. He has performed with the RNCM Session orchestra and has played at the Liverpool Echo Arena for the Access to Music Awards.
