It’s summer time. Best friends Flick and Regan have a full car and are off to find a party. When everything goes wrong they realise there’s no turning back.
Set in rural New Zealand Kaikahu Road is a coming of age drama in which comedy, pain, imagination and friendships collide.

Lead male character. No specific look, just needs to look related to character playing Shane. Gentle, witty, intelligent, caring. A very sympathetic and likeable character. Needs to be able to do emotion well (from joking around to breaking down in tears)

Lead male character. good looking Usually a nice guy Michael has just broken up with his long term girlfriend. He is feeling sorry for himself, ends up getting drunk and sleeps with a 16 year old girl.

Secondary male lead. attractive At uni, in relationship with Regan (principal character). Nice guy who cheated on his girlfriend and regrets it. Brother of Natalie.
