We are looking for experienced, senior dance teachers, who are motivated by a challenge to head up new locations for Shimmi Shake around greater London and the South East. You will work closely with the head office and will be helped to develop successful and profitable dance classes. This opportunity is ideal for you if you dream of running your own classes, but do not know how or where to start.
We require energetic, creative, well-presented individuals who can inspire children to dance. You need to have a proven ability in the latest dance techniques and styles. You should be fully qualified through a recognised dance organisation or equivalent with a minimum of two years dance teaching experience.
You will be expected to have good written and oral communication skills, including spoken English and good grammar. Honesty and integrity are our core values therefore it is important to us that our teachers can demonstrate these values. You should be an excellent time-keeper, be able to make controlled responses when under pressure, dealing with parents and engaging children’s attention.
You will need to have access to a computer with Internet access and your own transport; therefore IT skills (Word and databases) and a full clean driving licence are essential.
