Jordan Gabriel, singer/songwriter/performer

Born in Paris on May 5th 1988 from French/Madagascan parents, Jordan started his career in 2005 with Soul/RnB ensemble 'We Are One', allowing him to sing behind mainstream French artists such as Corneille, Keri james, Chimène Badi, etc. Jordan also sang backing vocals for TV shows such as Star Academy and Nouvelle Star in France.

Jordan moved to London to pursue his career in Febrary 2008, and joined Soul/Pop musician ensemble Gloriosa as a lead vocalist. Gloriosa headlined at The Royal Opera House, The Pigalle Club in Piccadilly Circus, and The Royal Albert Hall amongst other venues. At the time, Jordan also joined the ILoveMyDJ crew (http://www.ilovemydj.co.uk) as a lead singer, performing in numerous electro/house festivals and clubs, to raise money for charity (Y-GAP especially).

In 2009, Jordan decided to study Popular Music Performance at Tech Music Schools in West London to improve his musicianship and performance skills. In May 2010, Jordan joined vocal/dance group F.Y.D and together they auditioned for the X Factor 2010. After flying through the audition stages, their mentor Simon Cowell offered them a spot on the Live Finals.

After the show ended, F.Y.D went on tour with Industry Music accross The UK and Ireland until February 2011. Jordan has now taken a break from F.Y.D to focus on more personal projects.
