Model, Actor, Musician, Film & Stage Crew, Photographer

Hi, my name is Kelly & I am an Singer/Actress/Writer/Model from Stoke-on-Trent. From the age of 15 I gigged around most local working men's pubs & clubs with multiple bands & groups. I was then one of 50 chosen from 1800 people to be the lead Entertainer at one of the Haven Holiday Parks. It was there I found my love for acting. Around July 2010 I decided that acting was what I really wanted to do. I have some experience in acting, script writing & directing - making my own feature film in October 2010 with the help of John Symes of Red Sky Productions. I have since then worked on a number of short films, two of which have been my own. Email Address: kelzdaily@live.co.uk Phone Number: 07923255887

I have done a number of small photo shoots for both my singing & acting. I also did a photo shoot on the set of 'POSSESSED,' a feature film I acted in, co-wrote & co-directed around October 2010. I have also done a number of shoots for other small films & projects over the past year & a half.

In October 2010 I played the role of Sophie Bishop in my own low-budget feature film ‘POSSESSED,’ which at the moment is still in post production. I also co-wrote the script along with Writer/Actor Andrew Norman & co-directed it along with Actor/Director John Symes of Red Sky Productions.

I played the lead role of Megan Hill, a young woman who suffers with sleepwalking - in a short film in April 2011. I also did the special effects make-up on the two other actresses & helped out with the script.

I played the role of Jessica in another short horror film in May 2011 called Porcelain.

I play Lizzie, a rape victim in another short film called David & Lizzie. I also did the special effects make-up on myself.

In early June 2011 I co-wrote & co-directed a short film 'Night Stalker' along with Andrew Norman & Andrew Carson where I play a Vampire.

In November 2011, myself & Andrew Norman co-wrote another short film, this one lasting 30 minutes in length. It was directed by Philip Kempson & is at the moment in post production. I play Annabelle - a spirit seeking revenge.

Earlier this year I co-casted the music video ‘Wasting Away’ for a local band called Six-Towns. I had a small role in the music video as a Vampire & I did the special effects make-up on both myself & the actress/lioness.

Lastly, I played a helpless victim in a short student film 'The Butcher' earlier this year.

TV & Reality

This year I took part in a Reality TV show called Brendan's Love Boat which will air on Channel 4 around January 2013. I got to travel around the Mediterranean visiting places like Tunisia, Malta & Rome, but after signing a contract I am unable to give out any information regarding the actual show.

I stared singing at the young age of 15, winning my first karaoke competition in the local family pub. From there I auditioned for a local band & became one of the few chosen members. We did a couple of local gigs, but then after a while myself & two of the other female singers decided to leave & start our own group. We got ourselves a manager & became ‘Irresistible.’ For two years we gigged around the local working men’s pub/club circuit, but at the age of 18 I decided to leave as I felt I had gained all the experience I could with them.

I then auditioned for a place at one of the Haven Holiday parks & was one of 50 chosen from 1800 people to sing at Blackpool’s Cala Gran. I was there for a few weeks before I had to come back home due to an illness in the family.

I gave my singing a break for a while & started a dance/drama course at Burslem College, but I soon missed my singing & decided to go for another audition. I was chosen to sing along side Donna Crystal Simpson in a female duo. We became ‘Girls on Film,’ & sung songs from famous Movies such as Rocky & Top Gun. We gigged the working men’s pub/club circuit for a year, but Donna then decided to have a break & my manager at the time, put me with a male singer. We became Nyteshift, a Mo-Town/Swing/Soul duo.

I was with Nyteshift for a year before I left my singing days behind due to my full-time job as a chat host for an online bingo site. That was around four years ago now & I have wanted to get back into my singing for a while.

I have plenty of experience singing/acting live on stage, as well as some in a recording studio. I also auditioned for the X Factor a few years ago along with Donna Crystal Simpson & Joanna Mccarthy. We made it through to the 3rd round, but unfortunately we weren't what the judges were looking for at the time.

I would have to say I have a very Disney type voice & my ex-manager use to describe it as very crystal clear & angelic. I can adjust to any type of music apart from Rock or Heavy Metal. Mandy Moore & Vanessa Hudgens are two of the singers I has been told I sound like, but I'm just me. I also do a great Ariel from the Little Mermaid – ‘Part of your World.’

My musical influences would have to be Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Rihanna & the Saturdays.

Film & Stage Crew

I co-directed my first low-budget feature film ‘POSSESSED’ in September 2010 along with John Symes of Redsky Productions which I also co-wrote along with Writer/Actor Andrew Norman. I then went onto co-directing a short film ‘Night Stalker’ along with Andrew Carson & co-wrote it & stared in it with Andrew Norman.

Since then, myself & Andrew Norman co-wrote another script which went on to be our third RavenRose Production. We filmed ‘Nightmare Lake’ in November 2011 which was directed by Philip Kempson.

I love taking photos – mainly landscapes & old buildings. After getting the new iPhone 4s it became somewhat of an obsession & I am always taking random photos wherever I go, whither I’m walking my dogs, taking the bus ride over to see my family & friends, or just heading back home from work. I have always had a love for anything beautiful & I am told I have an eye for certain shots. I guess wanting to make films, you have to have an eye for these things.

Although I love to take pictures, I prefer to see my ideas coming to life on film – but I do have a few project ideas in mind where my photography is concerned, so maybe you will see more from me...
