Workshops are a fantastic way to get fit, improve your confidence and coordination, learn new skills, make new friends and have a great time!

I have run a number of workshops and birthday parties offering a fun creative space for kids to play, dress up, learn, paint and be painted. Workshops specialise in circus and dance, combined with elements of theatre with a strong emphasis on performance and production.

Workshops offered include fire arts such as staves and poi, creative fire workshops with more unusual fire toys (hoops, fingers and wands – let your imagination run wild! ) circus arts; including hula hoop, acrobalance, juggling and diablo, hip-hop dance, African dance, creative movement and yoga.
All workshops are suitable for kids and adults at all fitness and skill levels.

Kiri Pedersen has a background in Jazz, Belly dance, and Latin dance. She has studied under the most talent twirlers in Australia and New Zealand. Her performances are an infusion of her love of dance and fire that make her shows a unique experience that leaves any audience member in astonishment and amazement. She spins single and double staff, poi, fire ropes, fire hula hoops, fire fans and fingers. Her performances are high energy and captivating, mixing different genera’s of music with beautiful costuming. Her shows can be anywhere from quirky to comical to classic Kiri is a highly versatile performer being trained in Burlesque, Hip Hop, Street Latin, Salsa, Samba, African dance, booty shake, cabaret, circus, hula hoops and fire manipulation.

Kiri is a crowd favourite!
Kiri has performed at a large number of private functions for birthday parties, engagements and hen's nights.

Then Kiri Pedersen is the girl for you! With years of experience in the entertainment industry both on and off stage I have developed a very diligent eye for detail and capturing an audience with an inspiring event, performance or event.

Being a seasoned performer I understand the needs of all to create a breath taking and highly memorable event. I have also solidified my on the job training with study in event management as well as stage management. I have provided innovative creative direction, clockwork stage management and unique themes for events held at Etihad Stadium, Crown Casino, Federation square, Mt Bulla, Old Melbourne Gaol, Docklands, in theatres, private homes and on the streets.

Kiri has worked on the events and organisation teams for a number of festivals, events and shows throughout Australia. She has organised charity events for Whitelion and Addis Abada Hospital. Worked as a stage and production manager with a number of theatre and dance schools in Melbourne, Victoria.

Kiri has worked extensively with Circus Trick Tease. A 3 - 5 person comedy, circus and dance show that has performed all over Australia including Melbourne Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, Tasmania Circus Festival and Western Australia Festival. Kiri has predominately worked as the stage manager for this circus show - preparation of stage and bump out of stage, lighting positioning, costume, hair and make up checking, costume and prop changers during the show. Kiri has also worked as a spotlighter, music and lighting cue position as well as the event and promo manager for a number of shows.

Kiri is also a trained fire technician and safety, working with a number of fire and pyro-technique shows in Australia and internationally. Groups include Mighty Foxy Babes, Atmosfire, Pryoptix, Fire Magic Circus, FireDanceWorks and Eccentrix.
