Just got a lead in the opera Pirates of Penzance: Mabel. So happy! And get to sing Poor Wandering One! I've studied classical/music theatre since I was 8 (eased off for 3 yrs coz of swimming) & I play piano AMEB (Gd 6). I study drama & music at school & a private master acting class. Dance: 2 yrs jazz, 3 yrs ballroom & some private ballet lessons. I've done TV commercials, a movie extra, & roles in musical theatre. Other: Jr State Champion (swimming) 2007, 2008, 2009; & a brown belt karate (stopped just before black belt grading coz it clashed with performing arts I was doing). TV Channel 7 Perth Telethon 2011: Appeared in the opening act, backing choir for Australia's Got Talent Winner, singer Jack Vidgen in the opening of TV channel 7's weekend Telethon 2011

TV Channel 7 Perth Telethon 2011. Member of the musical theatre troupe singing/dancing on Sunday 16 Oct., the last day of the Telethon.

Was in 2 TV commercials that aired over several months prior and during the Beijing Olympics. One commercial involved a speaking/walking role and the other was part of a group - both commercials included Australian Olympians Eamon Sullivan & Blair Evans.

Appeared in the news (for St Patrick's Day parade in Fremantle, Western Australia walking with her Irish Wolfhounds) and second time for Young Talent Time auditions on Channel 7 news.

Was an extra in a short film, filmed in Fremantle and Perth - see Acting experience for details.

Did the lighting for College entry in the 2012 State YOHFest competition, with finals held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. (Only Year 11s and 12s were permitted to be IN the performance/act and two Year 10's were chosen to do the lighting and sound. Shania, being a year 10, was one of the 2 year 10s selected, and she did the lighting. (They made it into the Grand Finals.)

PIANO: Took a break in 2011 and slowed down during my comp. swimming years. As at end 2012 up to level AMEB Grade 6. Not choosing to do exams from this point on. Still continuing to learn and progress - just skip the exam part!!
