StarNow Outstanding Performance Award Winners

As part of StarNow's sponsorship with The Sydney Film School we are pleased to announce the following winners of the Outstanding Performance Award:
Maria Moro and Vitor Queiroz.
Victor directed the film 'Cradle' and Maria was his outstanding actress. They both win $250 cash to help them with their careers in film.

Sydney Film School Festival at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney

The Sydney Film School Festival is around the corner and you are warmly invited to come and discover the up-and-coming filmmakers.
In its 13th edition, the Sydney Film School Film Festival will take place on Tuesday December 14 and Wednesday December 15 at the Chauvel Cinema in Sydney’s central suburb of Paddington.
An exciting opportunity to view short films produced by the next generation of talented local and international filmmakers. They are bold, unconventional and creative...
Over 2 festival days we will bring you 59 short films screened throughout 8 screening sessions and judged by the teaching staff and outside industry professionals with awards presented at the festival’s Awards Night, on Wednesday 15th of December.
It is with great pleasure that we announce the Hon. Virginia Judge NSW Minister for the Arts as our very special Key Note Speaker.
All the events are FREE and open to all!
Reservations are essential only for the final Screening and Awards Ceremony (Wednesday 15th of December, 7:00pm)! To RSVP please email festival@sydneyfilmschool.com by Friday December 10!

StarNow member wins Best Actor Award at Sydney 48 Film Project

It's always great when our own members win the top prizes, so we were pleased to hear StarNow member Gary Boulter had taken away The Best Actor Award at the Sydney 48 Hour Film Project. The StarNow team are super proud and no we didn't judge the awards so the decision wasn't biased at all!
