Halimah began her interest in the performing arts after performing in her first musical Carousel. To complete her senior schooling she received a scholarship to attend the McDonald Performing Arts College in Sydney.
Furthering her dance skills she trained at ED5 International in Sydney under William A Forsythe. To complete her training Halimah received a scholarship to attend Lasalle College of the Arts Singapore, completing a BA Honors Degree in Musical Theatre.
Career highlights include Tapworks choreographed by Chris Horsey and original Tap Dog Nathan Sheens, the 2006 Australian Dance Awards in the company Beats Per Minute, Universal Studios Singapore world wide TV launch, backing vocalist for Voyage De La Vie Sentosa Singapore, Kismet the Musical produced by The Production Company, Aladdin and La Cage Aux Folles Wild Rice Singapore and Forbidden Broadway produced by Free Rain Theatre Australia.
