Section59 Films has been leading the way in 48 Hour film making for a number of years in this country. It's not our fault that most people choose to go different ways... we're still leading I tell ya!

We've started a branch in Christchurch and extend a warm welcome to anyone and everyone who wants to work on a big-scale production. We offer: -

- The structure of a large (20-30) short film production
- The opportunity to work with some very experienced professionals from film and TV
- A focus on having fun, not on winning
- Cool things like 2nd film units, catering and post-production correction
- A chance to network, make new friends and build social capital
- The BEST musician in the entire history of the competition

- Production Manager
- 1st AD
- Makeup
- Hair Stylist
- Story boarder
- Clapper loader/continuity
- 2nd Camera operator
- Assistant sound editor
- Actors

This year's gonna be great, cause we're competing with our own Wellington branch for honour, glory and a chance to say "Christchurch is BETTER".
