I am a Latin House music producer working on a particularly funky salsa track. We have lots of good talent involved, and now looking for a spanish/latin sounding female singer to provide lead, harmony and syncopated jazzy solo vocals (all parts are outlined, so improvisation isn't necessary).
To give you a vague idea, you can view a track of a similar genre, but more gentle upon application.
* The tempo of the track is 126.5bpm. (suitable for upbeat clubs/bars)
* You must have access to your own quality recording equipment and software to record of course. We can offer experienced technical help with the recording process if you have problems.
The process:
1. Send us your profile or website demos.
2. If selected, we will send you the draft track version - the vocals outlined by the producer (prepare for a giggle!). We will also send you a track minus the vocals, and some other files to illustrate the harmony and jazz solo parts.
3. You will need to email back the final files that you have recorded. Files will need to be saved as 320kbps 48khz MP3 - and if you live in the UK, files should ideally be burnt onto a CD-R as highest cd quality .wav files and posted by mail, after emailing.
We usually have to sift through a large variety of talented applicants, so please wait while we aim to get back to you within two weeks, if chosen.
Remuneration for all participating artists (including the producer!) will be agreed pending the prospect of a successful launch. In the meantime, feel free to add this exciting track to your demonstration portfolio following its completion.
Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you!
