I am a professional voice over actor and have been professionally trained by one of the worlds leading voice coaches, Steve Hudson, (The original Old Spice ad, Milk Tray, Mr.Nicotine etc). I primaraly use my native British 'accent free' (RP) voice, which is ideal for; Corporate work, documentaries, TV & Radio, e learning, web, MOH & IVR, anything that requires a clear accent free read. I can also provide a wide and varied selection of British dialects, as well as foreign ones too!. I normally deliver my voice over work from my own in house professional studio either in a finished format, (produced & edited), or as a straight dry read ready for post production. This can be delivered vial e mail, or Dropbox as an MP3, WAV and many other file formats, or hard CD via snail mail. I am also available to travel to any studio should it be required. Turn around is normally within 24 hours, which is ideal for deadlines, quick turn around projects of a relative short length. Should you want music or sound effects added to your project, this can be done as well. Although I work close to equity rates, I'm always happy to negotiate fees where appropriate. I use the latest version of industry standard software, so you will receive excellent quality recording with a fast turn around, on time and affordable!

I have been a Bass player for over 25 years. Also play guitar if required. Have covered just about every type of playing situation there is, from Local pubs and clubs, through to specializing in International 5 star hotels. I've also worked on cruise ships, cabaret backing, function bands, concerts and studio session work. I've worked with many national and international artists and have a lot of experience working in different playing scenarios, some of which has been at short notice and also as a dep. Got a great sense of humor and love a good laugh, but also very professional on and off stage, with total dedication to the work required. All in all, a good solid player that is reliable and professional, with no ego either, just love to play in a tight rhythm section, as well as put feeling into the music as required.

I enjoy a good cross section of music from all styles, but my personal preference is the classic Jazz Funk & Soul music styles, but can cover any playing style. Hence my musical influences are from the 1970's and 80's American Jazz Funk, Soul & R&B music, having particular influence from bass players such as; Marcus Miller, James Jamerson, Anthony Jackson & Chuck Rainey to name a few and have been heavily influenced by artists and bands such as; Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, George Benson, The Crusaders, Miles Davis, Joe Sample, Chic Corea, Michael McDonald, Randy Crawford, Anita Baker, Steely Dan, Grover Washington, Earth Wind & Fire....the list goes on!!!

My playing experience has enabled me to cover just about any style of music, from Dinner music, strict tempo, fusion, rock, reggae, country, soul, blues, R&B Jazz funk etc. I am a quick learner and have an excellent ear. Although not a sight reader, I am a competent chart reader and work best within a tight rhythm section, rather than try and be a soloist. Also have experience working with click & backing tracks. I have also been a successful band leader, having put together various bands and line ups including a successful residency bands for top International 5 star Hotels,12 piece Reggae band, 10 piece funk band as well as being involved in starting a Neil Young tribute band, which is now in it's 18th year! I was also involved in in putting together a 7 piece country band with a close friend and original guitarist from 'Edison Lighthouse' and Haircut 100.
