Discovered singing at work by a manager of an independent record label at the age of 19, Sonia began to take her talent seriously. She became one third of “Krome Angelz”, an urban girl group put together by the label. Unfortunately after 2 years the group split, but that didn’t hold Sonia back. Using the experience and knowledge she had gained from working with industry professionals, Sonia decided to take things into her own creative hands and go solo, pursuing her life long dream. Since then, Sonia has made countless live performances, spanning the length and breadth of the UK.
Also, Sonia somehow found the time to co-host an evening called “Urban Sessions”. The evening is purely for the promotion of up and coming unsigned artists, providing a stage for them to showcase their talents.
