Supporting artist work playing the character of John Gaunt in the ITV DRAMA DCI BANKS, aired Feb/March 14'. I was required to play the lead guitarist of an 80's band in (flash back scenes). I worked closely with the director, learned more about direction for the camera and gained valuable professional experience. I completed 5 shoots/film/photography shoots for ITV. I was hired by Fame Castings.
'IN THE CLUB' aired on BBC one. I featured in one of the episodes as 'best friend' to one of the main characters. The director gave me chance to speak so quite a prominent piece of experience gained.
Professional advertisement film work includes: 'New To Northumbria' produced by Super Krush. I played the role of 'new student' in a series of short films promoting life in Newcastle and as a student at Northumbria University.
'Beats by Dre' on set with Cesc Fabregas.
Another professional project I worked on was for the production company 'Precept'. Precept employed me to play the role of a 'young gangster' in the 'black comedy' advertisement 'Lok Stok: Selling Your Home From Home'. This work was interesting and I was able to use previous experience from advertisement projects to adapt myself to a better position. A member of the Precept crew, James McGaughan, went on to direct me in the short 8 minute film TULPA- see videos on my profile.
Professional credit for short film 'Blurred' produced by First Light films and funded by The National Lottery in conjunction with Young Peoples Film Festival (Media Fish) in the city of Leeds. I played the role of 'Toby'. A teenager struggling with autism who finds confidence to speak by looking through a round piece of glass which helps him cope with the simple tasks in life. I was originally involved on the production side to filming but they were impressed by my acting talent and gave me a shot. Credited on IMDB.
Several short films through the media department at Northumbria University.
'Soldier' - A soldier is seen running from his fear of WAR in this short, none speaking role film. A strenuous day of filming, having to run for nearly a full day, but nevertheless, enjoyable!
Short collection of three four minute films called: 'MUTATE'- several films showing the journey of 3 young characters who are all paranoid, living in a constant state of need to be something, do something and work for something. The idea my character Joseph strives for is met with violence and extreme thoughts leading to a series of drastic actions and events, involving his best friend Nathan. All members of the project were 100% committed and the outcome was impressive. Footage is available on request- clip shown in my show reel. The story aims at tackling a human beings 'unwillingness in society' through improper means of survival, when really, it is their mental states that are simply deteriorating through the extreme ideas of creating a cult.
Extra work: Emmerdale (ongoing) for ITV1 2015/2016 onwards. Emmerdale regular.

Several devised University performances exploring physical theatre and mask work by practitioner Jacques Lecoq and the rehearsal methods of Konstantin Stanislavski. Teachings at University include work on the body, gestus through Brecht and other theorist's work on method acting and 'total, truthful performance'.
Live theatre performances including 'Murder Mystery'. Thanks to being selected by crime author Martin Edwards, I was able to play one of the characters to a live audience in a public library space, 2012.
I am always looking to gain short film work for my show reel and I'm on the look out to gain more professional work.
