As well as 25 years acting experience in the industry, Angelique is also a writer, director and producer. Since its inception in 1994, she has been the Artistic Director of Class Act Theatre which has provided work for many up and coming young actors and other theatre professionals. She was also instrumental in establishing WA’s first all-female theatre company – Her Infinite Variety Ensemble (HIVE) in 2011. Angelique has appeared in many films, TV shows and ads, the most recent being Cloudstreet and Stormworld.. Recent theatre credits include the critically acclaimed Playhouse Creatures with HIVE (dir. Helen Doig), Maria in Shakespeare WA’s Twelfth Night, Mrs Alving in Ghosts, the title role in Medea (dir.Michelle Trainer),Abanazar in Aladdin and Sam Sawnoff in The Magic Pudding (dir. Mark Barford) at the Metcalfe Playhouse, Nerissa and Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice (dir. Stephen Lee) Saturninus in Titus Andronicus, The Friar in Romeo & Juliet with hip hop, the Widow & Curtis in Shakespeare WA’s Taming of the Shrew, Pam in Class Act’s critically acclaimed production of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Miss Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest and Lady Macbeth in Macbeth. Angelique was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2007 WA Equity Guild Awards for her role as Pearl in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll (dir. Edgar Metcalfe). In 2013, Class Act leased the downstairs rooms at 123 Claisebrook Rd, Perth and has established two new venues – the Guild Studio and the Guild Amphitheatre. Angelique received the first PAWA Award in 2014 for a significant contribution to the WA theatre industry. Angelique is now based in Melbourne, Victoria. Already, she has performed in The Bacchae at The Mechanics Institute, was the lead in The Birds for SPARK Production Co., spoke Mandarin in Boutique Theatre's, The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow for the Melbourne Fringe, played 2 characters in The Crucible, killed zombies in Keeping Up Appearances for PlaySix, played the estranged wife of a Hollywood Producer in The Lucas Conundrum and a bogan medium in Madame Bast. Angelique will appear as Mrs Powerband in the web series, Bogan Bachelor and will also be playing Paulina in The Winter's Tale at The Northcote Town Hall.
