I began training at River City Dance with Andrew Pronger at 7 years of age, gaining a foundation in classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop styles. As a Cecchetti scholar, I represented Queensland at the Lucie Saranova National Memorial Awards and was awarded a position in the Cecchetti scholarship program.
I have also performed on numerous occasions across Brisbane. Recent performances include being cast in 'On the Spot' (Anywhere Festival) and Wanida Searce's production 'Shade'. This year I have performed as a dancer for the Z-Boyz in their 'Restoring Timeless Art' show at the Brisbane Powerhouse, for the Academy of Brothers in their show 'The Exhibition', for the Women's Legal Service 'Dancing CEOs Glitter Ball Gala' held at Brisbane City Hall, for the Brisbane Broncos 'Champions for Charity' Ball held at the Brisbane Convention Centre and at the 'Don't Dis Disabilities' charity event at Luna Park in Sydney. In addition to my on stage performances, I am also a Cheerleader for the Brisbane Broncos and have performed to crowds of over 50,000 at Suncorp Stadium. I have also performed in numerous flash-mob and corporate events around Brisbane.
In addition to my dance education, I trained and competed as an Elite Rhythmic Gymnast and was a selected as a member of the Junior National Squad, attending training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport. I also represented Australia in both Junior and Senior Elite international competitions in Cape Town (South Africa), Cairo (Egypt), Portimão (Portugal), Bulgaria (Ukraine), Sarajevo (Bosnia), Moscow (Russia) and New Jersey (USA). My training included mastering each of the five apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon - skills which I still possess to this day.
