From an early age I always knew I wanted to pursue my passion in acting. From 2011, I started off acting professionally in scare mazes such as; Pasaje Del Terror located in Blackpool, Dudley Canal Horror in the West Midlands and also several attractions with Twisted Attractions which were all Birmingham based. By playing many of these scary characters in attractions all constructed by myself, enhanced my versatility as an actor that I would later take away with me for future roles.
Following on from the scare mazes, I incorporated many of the aspects into my roles on stage in theatre, specifically in a production for Equus where I portrayed the main character, Alan Strang. Moreover, in a production similar to Equus in terms of unnaturalism, I appeared in a university project as the lead character for 'A Spurt of Blood' which taught me the beauty of body movement and how movement on stage can sometimes speak louder than words. Although stage isn't primarily where my passion lies, it has been incorporated into my acting for TV and film.
I was always keen to start out in screen acting. My first role on screen was a commercial promoting 'Digital Storytelling' in 2014. After that, to gain more experience, I gained work as an extra and supporting artist on TV shows such as 'The Game' and BBC 'Doctors' which I have been a regular extra on but my experience has enhanced my work on the show to a featured walk on in recent years. Furthermore, I have appeared as the lead role in short films such as 'Cerebral', 'Sharkie' and '12th of May 2013'.
In addition, I have met a lot of professionals within the industry which began my career in feature films. My first credited role on a feature film was 'The House of Screaming Death' (2017) starring Ian McNeice and Ouijageist (2017) directed by John R. Walker. Through the first feature film, I gained many contacts which has opened many opportunities for myself in independent films.
In early 2018, I have been cast for the lead role as Luke in a psychological thriller 'Cellar Whispers' written by Shelia Evans of Walk Tall Productions. This casting gave me recognition as it was published in a local newspaper around Birmingham and the Black Country. I have worked with the same writer from 'Cellar Whispers' in 'The Legend of Dark House'. Furthermore, in 2018 I appeared in 'ITV Studios Autopsy: The Last Hours of...' starring as the young Gregg Allman which is yet to air in the US. I've not only worked on professional productions but I have also been apart of an award winning podcast such as 'Psychosis: Turning the Negative into a Positive' a story about my own mental health and becoming an actor.
In 2019 I wrote, produced and starred in my own stage production of the non verbal visual art piece, 'Finding Nirvana' , with me playing the lead as Kurt Cobain which was a huge success. In addition, I also co-created an original production called 'Bloodstained Desks' which was based around a school shooting in the UK exploring different stereotypes of the classroom.
