I have always loved amateur dramatics and enjoy participating in various roles in my local group. I'm currently rehearsing for 'A Lengendary Death' written by Giles Black - a murder mystery play that lets the audience question the suspects at the end to conclude who the murderer is. I play Mrs Theakston - a rather posh woman who is furious that after years of tolerating her self-centred, conceited husband, he is now leaving her for another woman. Mrs Theakston is known to like her drink so I'm currently practising a posh, drunken accent of a very exasperated woman.
I've enjoyed working on stage in panto and musicals - this year I will be working on the other side of 'the cameras' directing our youth group which I am particularly excited about!
Last year I had a very enjoyable day as a supporting actress with 'It's My Shout' in Cardiff, Wales working on the short film 'Moving On'. The whole day was fantastic and such an eye opener into the world of tv and film work.
