I've been playing and performing music in various iterations for the past 20 years - both solo and in bands. I've been in at least 10 bands over the years, playing everything from black metal to pop. I have no preference for genre, but the current pop output has not been to my liking, though I'm open for anything creative and innovative - new music is still important to me.
Acoustic and electric guitar - playing and performing consistently for 20 years. Love writing and recording songs - something I've been getting much better at the last few years.
Performing a tight set in front of an enthusiastic crowd is one of the best feelings in the world.
Singing - have been honing my skills as a vocalist ever since I can remember, but have recently come into my own by gaining confidence and experience performing live in China, where I lived and worked the past six years (returned to OZ Feb 2016).
My claim to fame was performing "Sweet Home Alabama" to over 10,000 people, and a two-night stint at the opening of a large nightclub
Bass guitar - basic bass skills, once played in a Black Metal band called Blizzard in the early 2000s - that was an experience
Drums - drums were the first instrument I ever learned. I didn't keep up with that because of the expense, but I still have basic skills and was the drummer in a band in China for 6 months
