I am 48 years old and normally work behind the camera in television. Earlier this year I was picked by Woman and Home magazine to be on their books as one of their models after I entered an advertisement inviting readers to apply to be featured in their magazine. I was invited to Manchester and I was told on the day that they would also be looking for women to cast as models.
I am a finalist in this years Classic Miss British Isles modelling competition representing Liverpool. Competition date tbc.
I have previously done some marketing and promo work in my TV jobs and I enjoy very much being on camera. At 48 and in a world where older girls are no longer considered ‘past it’ I want to embrace this time of my life as I’ve never looked and felt better. I am so excited for this new journey I am on and I’m looking forward to going to castings and getting offered jobs.
