I have been dancing since I was 8yrs old and specialise in Polynesian dancing mainly in the style of Tahitian and Cook Island dancing.
I have performed and danced with many dance groups in Brisbane over the past 10 years and have been taught by a number of top polynesian choreographers who have travelled the world teaching their craft from Tahiti to Spain and in return have developed my own style and have conducted and taught this style of dancing for a performing arts school based in Brisbane Australia for over 7 years.
In 2010 I won a Tahitian/Cook Island dance competition in Brisbane and I have also been fortunate to travel around Australia, NZ and to the Cook Islands with different dance groups to perform for various events.
I have also been taught the Maori poi dance of NZ (long pois only) and Samoan dancing and have also had 1 year in Hip Hop school with Steps Dance School.
Highlight of my dancing career would be dancing for Bindi Irwins birthday (the daughter of the late Steve Irwin owner of Australia Zoo), she has always been a great inspiration with her love of animals, as I also love animals and live a healthy lifestyle as a vegan.
I was brought up vegetarian and chose to become vegan 2 years ago and as a Beauty Therapist I maintain a great skincare routine, and as a dancer it is crucial to look and live healthy.
I look forward to hearing from you all soon, you can contact me by email firstname.lastname@example.org
