We are a trio known as Moonbirds Live. John & I are experienced keyboard/piano players & composers, John also plays the guitar, I sing, write lyrics and play the harmonica. We write our own songs, we arrange and perform covers for two pianos & voice with guitar, spanning various genres - pop, soft jazz, folk jazz, mellow rock, folk rock, soul, ballads, country rock and film music; English, French & American. Two of us are professionally trained musicians, Bill our American guitarist who joined us recently is an experienced rock guitarist and lyricist. We play in hotels, bars, restaurants, at private functions, weddings and outdoor venues. Our influences include.- Bob Dylan, Lara Fabian, Aretha Franklin, Dave Grusin, Burt Baccarach, Diana Krall, Brad Meldhau, Natalie Cole, Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates, Herbie Hancock plus many more. We have used our experiences and influences to create a very individual but easy listening style of music.

Moonbirds Live - Both John and I are classically trained pianists but together as a duo, we create a fusion of various styles of music. Most of our cover arrangements and own compositions are classical/ rock/ jazz influenced. We play two pianos together, or piano accompaniment and vocal.
We have performed many concerts/gigs in Normandy France during the past 13 years since we moved here.
I write lyrics and compose, John composes and arranges backing.
Bill has joined us, since February 2020, he is an experienced rock guitarist, vocalist and lyricist.
