I worked with Carnival Cruise Lines US for 2 years completing 3 contracts as a dancer in groups performances as well as solo & partner work before returning to New Zealand where I have been working as a dance teacher and choreographer focusing on Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Hip Hop for the last 6 years. I have also been involved in as much performance as I can over that time from local productions such as musicals, where I performed significant roles such as 'Cha Cha' in 'Grease' & 'Texas' in 'Cabaret', to cheerleading for the Regional Rugby team, to floorshows at local corporate events. In 2011 & 2012 I competed at the annual Aim To Fame championships in Auckland where I was selected as a member of the New Zealand team to take part in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Los Angeles in July 2011 & 2012. I was very successful both years at the World Champs returning both years with a medal in every style I competed in.
