There was a time when I was signed on to Rhodes agency theatre school, where I was selected to have three speaking roles and four extra roles during my time with them. I personally enjoy speaking roles more as I am then able to actually put emotion into the role that I am playing. The agency decided to put on a show at Broadway and I was selected to sing one of Michael Jackson's songs "man in the mirror". This was a really big deal for me because I had just joined the school, and straight away they realised my talent and my potential which made me feel special and made my love for performing arts grow.

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

Modeling website

I started out as a model about two weeks ago, by booking an appointment with Kube studios, getting short listed, and taking a photo shoot. They told me I was very successful and they even paid £1000 towards my portfolio, because they were so amazed by the quality and professional look of the photos taken. I personally enjoyed the experience and want to further develop my knowledge and understanding of this particular industry. I would like to think I'm good looking, have a positive and uplifting attitude and strive to put my all into everything I do.

Throughout my Time at Robert clack school I have seriously enjoyed the amount of effort they put into making sure that People's passion and love for music stays in the school. all the music teachers were very committed and helped me bring my songs from my bedroom onto the iMacs, that they bought for musicians at the school.

During my time at Robert clack I have composed a backing track and sang to one of my own songs called "baby you're like the flu". This song is actually really well known among teachers and students at the school and it just makes me feel really happy that I can write something and someone else can bring it to life, and introduce it to the whole school. Before I left the school I remember some of the teachers saying, "Lamar when are you going to perform again?" "When is your next song coming out?" I was actually working on a new song so that's why I didn't really have time to perform. But every time I have performed many teachers and many students come up to me and say "Lamar, wow did you write that because that is incredible, those lyrics are so heartfelt and they sound like you put real emotion into it" and I do that's why they sound that way. I come up with the beats and how I want them to make the listener feel, and if you ever get a chance to listen to my music, right away you will be able to tell who my influences are. Dancing ability

Dance styles
  • Breakdancing
  • Disco
  • Swing
  • Hip Hop

I haven't really been involved in any dance groups or dance studios lately. But when I was with Rhodes theatre school, I improvised a dance to a song I had just performed, as the music hadn't cut out when it was supposed to, but it looked great anyway as I was comfortable and confident. I was also involved in group dance that everyone who went to the school was involved in for the show.

Film & Stage Crew

The only film & stage crew experiences I have had was when I was with Rhodes agency theatre school. I had 3 speaking roles and I really enjoyed them, the cast were friendly and welcoming, and the crew were warm and were basically at my beck and call. Whether I needed food, or a blanket, or a cup of tea they provided it with speed, and always maintained a light and happy mood, even if the weather was dull and grey. The set was also interesting, although I wasn't allowed to touch most of it, what I found interesting was the camera's the light's and the microphones that they held above my head with a long pole.
