SCHOLARSHIPS: Film & Television Studio International (Melbourne Oct 2019)

STARNOW HALF-SCHOLARSHIPS // OCTOBER 2019 INTAKE // MELBOURNE STUDIO // APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

Film & Television Studio International is now accepting applications nationwide for TWO half-scholarship positions in the October 2019 ensemble, at the Melbourne studio. Applications close Friday 30th of August, 2019.

*For those of you who auditioned, but were unsuccessful in obtaining the scholarship position or a placement in our March 2019 intake, we encourage you to audition for our October 2019 intake.

The recipient will receive:
A half-scholarship for the Professional Full-Time Acting for Television Program, valued at $6,250.00T (the full cost of the Full-Time program is $12,500) Therefore, the half-scholarship recipient would receive 50% off their tuition.
One-way flight from current city in Australia to Melbourne (if scholarship recipient lives outside of Victoria, and needs to relocate to Melbourne).
One year membership with The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA).
One year membership with StarNow, provided by Film & Television Studio International.

**As part of the half-scholarship requirements, the recipient will be required to assist the administration team at Film & Television Studio International for one day per week throughout the duration of the Professional Full-Time Acting for Television Program.

The scholarship recipient will receive 30 contact weeks of intensive training under some of Australia’s finest film and television Show Creators, Heads of Networks, Heads of Dramas, Executive Producers; Series Producers and Directors, together with some of Australia’s leading working actors. Celebrating 20 years, we have produced more than a dozen series regulars on Neighbours, and several Home & Away series regulars. This is not including the extensive number of actors that we have launched (as guests and leads) into some of Australia’s finest award-winning series’. Internationally, our actors have worked for the CW Network; CBS; Fox Studios; NBC; Fox TV; Netflix & Stan, some of whom who have gone on to be nominated for AFI, AACTA and Emmy Awards.

Applications are now open for non-scholarship places as well. Should you wish to apply for a place regardless of the scholarship please do let us know so we can consider you firstly for the scholarship position and if unsuccessful, as a fullpaying student in our upcoming intake.
