Crew for Feature Film

The Waiting Room is a feature film, set in a hospital waiting room setting that is actually the place where your soul goes between life and death.

In the waiting room characters learn about each other but more importantly themselves before they take the next step into the light (top floor of the elevator)

Maia, Seth and Parker are all students in university studying dance. The three are in an accident on the way to rehearsals. While awaiting to be rescued and in surgery the three learn about love, friendship and the importance of kindness.

Kate is a 21 year old woman with Down Syndrome. For as long as she can remember it has been just her and her mum Hailey. The two are inseparable. As Kates heart is failing again she is going to have to go into surgery for a transplant. While in surgery she enters the waiting room where she meets 14 year old Frankie. Frankie is in foster care and has been through so much that a child should never have to go through. She feels she is not finished with her life and does not want her story to end this way.

Rachel is a nurse who had worked at the hospital for years. Rachel is 8 months pregnant with her second child when she dies. She has not left the waiting room yet as she feels something is keeping her there to help the people who enter find who they are and what they want to be remembered for.

Maia (main character) goes through a long journey of self discovery whilst in the waiting room. She looks at her life, her choices and even the people she loves. Will she get to have her final dance with the one she truly loves?
