The Story Box Community Theatre Project is free and open to adults aged 50 and above. We run weekly workshops at the Epping Hall exploring oral story telling skills, performance techniques and ways in which memories can be preserved through drama. “It’s simply a wonderful project and lots of fun where people can socialise, make new friends and feel valued.” (Lesley, Member) The project also works towards creating a small performance. In our last project we created a performance of the children’s book “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson using puppets and storytelling. It was performed to sell out audiences at the Arts Theatre, London and the Debden Library.
We're now looking for new members for our second project.
