A father confines his daughter to the walls of their convenience store after struggling with his wife’s death. With the threat of a new ‘Hypermark’ opening, he battles for the store’s survival while his daughter longs for the outside world and the attention of her father.
The film will be shot across three weeks in April but exact dates can still be flexible and we are unlikely to need all cast members for the full three weeks. The film will be shot primarily in three location with a focus on conversational dialogue and building a rich world and community around the shop. We will be building the shop from scratch and want to create a timeless and intriguing atmosphere to the whole film.
We are really excited about this project and would love to have talented people on board.

A burdened father, a widower, and a son with the weight of his mother’s heritage. Hector (40s) is the owner of the local convenience store. A rugged, stubbly man having worn the same shoes and dungarees for 5 years. He is considerate, selfless and always trying to meet the needs of his customers. The store now faces closure in light of a new ‘Hypermark’ opening. Hector can’t be the father he wants to be or the business owner that he needs to be.
