Music Teachers Wanted Throughout Sydney and NSW

Wendy's Music is looking to grow our team of teachers all around Australia. Do you have what it takes?

We want people who are able to teach from their own teaching space at home or in students homes (or both!).

*Teaching with Wendy's Music is for teachers who want to be independent members of a group of committed teachers. (NB This is not a franchise )

Choose when you teach, how and what you teach, but have the full support of an established and successful Music School, its resources and programs.

You must :

- Be a good standard of playing on at least one instrument

- Able to read music

- Competent Computer skills

- Excellent people skills

- A dedicated teaching space with appropriate instruments

- A desire to learn to teach effectively

- A Reliable internet connection and recent computer

- A current Working with children Check or VIT reg ( or be prepared to get one asap)

- Be available to teach as an ongoing committment, this is not a short term job.


We will provide:

- Online Booking and Lesson Management System

- Lesson Management Software

- Teaching resources for our Learn to Play or Sing Method ( should you wish to use it),

- A variety of Teacher Training Courses,

- A Student recruitment service for your area and instrument

- Regular monthly payments

- Ongoing support


Pay:

- pay per 30 minute lesson $50+ more for highly experienced teachers.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Maintain your schedule availability accurately on the online booking system,

Teach weekly lessons to individuals as booked,

Use your own teaching resources, or our teaching program or a mixture as needed

Keep in contact with our administration as needed

Prepare students for performances and exams as needed

Maintain lesson attendance records etc online


Qualifications and Skills:

Must have have a current VIT or WWC registration or be prepared to get one.

High level musical skills on at least one instrument.

Preferably be able to read music proficiently.

Great computer skills.
