The story follows Paul, a man being questioned over the murder of Stephanie. During the interrogation we flashback and watch the murder as well as the struggle between Paul and the young woman but reveal that the interrogation was simply an audition for a role. However, as Paul is leaving we see that injuries on Paul's hands match the ones the young woman gave him and realise that Paul's amazing audition was based on his actual murder of a young woman named Aoife.
We are looking for someone to play the role of Aoife, the murder victim. Aoife is a woman in her mid 20s and, while terrified of the situation she is in, puts up a fight that leaves Paul with injuries that may help solve her own murder.
While actor safety is our number one priority, because of the content of the short, there will be a lot of physical activity involved including being hit, pulled from a car and fighting back. However, everything is being designed and shot in such a way so that no damaging physical contact will be made during these scenes.
