We are creating a brand new podcast looking at all the new emerging writers and writing for screen, stage and page (We would've said book but that doesn't rhyme as well)!
As a writer, this is your chance to send a small group of actors a sample of your work which will then get performed, recorded and broadcast.
We're looking for up to five minutes worth of script (Please leave in any and all stage directions, contextual information etc) or up to 500 words if it's a novel. Feel free to attach a blurb/overview of your whole vision which is no longer than 100 words, and a bio of yourself which again is no longer than 100 words.
We'll followup the preview with a chat about your work: what we liked, how we felt performing it, where we think it could go and any recommendations we have. Between us we have a wealth of screen, stage and page experience!
We have trained at universities, specialist schools such as RADA, written and toured our own theatre productions AND have worked with the likes of Pinewood Studios, Netflix and ITV! We have also been writers, directors and 'behind the scenes' crew so we have a very rounded idea of how things could work.
It's a win win - You as a writer get to see a draft of your work come alive, you get to have some feedback AND your work is broadcast on public platforms for all to see, including potential directors, actors and audience members!
You don't need to be present for the recording, just send us your work! We will fully credit you and send you a preview before it's broadcast online.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesOngoing. You will be provided with contact details to send your script to upon application.
This job is unpaid - This is a chance for free publicity for both you as a writer and your work, from people who have the credentials to make it count!
