Are you seeking help, connection or togetherness with others online?
Are you in need of meaningful and memorable creative weekly sessions?
Then the Black Men’s Consortium Online Drama Drop-IN could be for you!
BLACK MEN WANTED for weekly online sessions to creatively explore issues around Mental Health, Depression & Stress.
No experience necessary.
Weekly sessions will be playful, memorable and fun!
Where: online in our Zoom rehearsal rooms
When: Every Monday evening 6.00pm – 7.20pm
Why: Because you will make new friends whilst having fun, learning and being creative!
The project use games, exercises and techniques to:
build strategies for citizen action
analyse, understand and overcome situations of oppression
make theatre to understand the reality
we live in, the collective search for
alternatives to injustice, power imbalances and inequality in access to resources and opportunities
build solidarity to find concrete means for transforming unjust realities, overcoming oppression and building the future we long for
Members will develop their ideas and plans to make a theatre show in the near future once the dust settles.
We also aim to collectively create a change within your mental health which can act as a catalyst to promote health and wellbeing and strengthen skills and local knowledge, particularly about how to access support.
