The Lift Student Short Film

The Lift Student Short Film

Brighton, UK
Listed by View details

Final Major student short film for Brighton Screen and Film Shool. The piece is a 10-15 minutes film, the display of the romantic relationship between Larry and Sarah, which starts, develops and ends inside their apartment building’s lift. Inspired works like Woody Allen's "Annie Hall" and Phoebe Waller-Bridge's "Fleabag", It's a classic example of actor-centric screenplay. The story is driven by two characters, Larry (30-35, male) and Sarah (25-35, female) confined in a small space, where they will meet, fall in love, confront each other and, ultimately, separate.
As a director I know that the key for the succes of this film will be the actors. That's why we are looking for someone who can get passionate about the role and the project as a whole.
We will build our own elevator set, which will aloow us to be creatively free.
The pay will be discussed.
