Miles Talbot (Principle lead) AGED: Between 20-38

Miles is a very private character keeping most of his life to himself. This is shown through his movement such as keeping distance from others, anxiously moving around identifying any dangers that could hurt him etc. However, he also has psychotic traits that are visible and these range from observing everyone, talking to himself, violently thinking etc. For his costume, Miles is dressed in a smart casual way but you can tell he is uneat and not as organised as he thinks he is. A blazer jacket

Male, aged 20 to 38

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles
  • Accents: UK English, UK Posh, UK Scottish, UK Welsh

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Jade (Principle) AGED: Between 20 to 36

Jade is a young casual woman who is very warm and welcoming as opposed to her dark past of tormenting Miles on a daily basis. She is always asking questions and curious about the film Miles is making. Her approach is very open and she does not hold back on friendly gestures such as a hug we see in the film with Miles. Her appearance is a casual organised look as opposed to Miles and this is so that it can be seen as a mirror to Miles and what he aspires to be (successful, well organised).

Female, aged 20 to 36

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Peter (Psychologist) (Principle) Aged: 21 - 40

Peter is the psychologist of Miles and appears as a smart mannered man. He doesn’t hesitate to ask Miles questions, through the film we see that he has a lot of sympathy for him. Of course this is due to him knowing what he did to Miles in the past. Because of this, he slowly falls more into insanity just like how Miles and in the end is just as mentally fragile as Miles. For Peter's appearance, it starts off smart but overtime we see changes to his appearance to symbolise a fractured psyche

Male, aged 21 to 41

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Mr Falcon (Supporting) -Needed for one vital scene

'Mr Falcon' is the alias name of an filmmaker that Miles looks up towards. 'Mr Falcon's' work inspired Miles to write scripts of his own and begin his steps in becoming a filmmaker. Meeting 'Mr Falcon' turned out to not be the dream Miles was expecting. Miles met Falcon at the premiere of his latest film, showing him a script he's written with intentions of it being made. Mr Falcon disses both the script and Miles. He's one of the many negative figures within Miles's life and carries an ego.

Male, aged 22 to 50

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Prison Officer (Needed for a scene or 2)

Needed to walk Peter (The Psychologist) to Miles's cell, providing to him brief details of what is to be expected as they walk down to the cell. (Tall, dark Jumper, trousers, shoes) - Formal.

Gavin (Warehouse owner) - Supporting

Gavin is the owner of a warehouse in which Miles obtains/hires to begin making his 'feature film' Gavin wears that of dirty jeans, a jacket, worn out trainers and maybe both a high-vis coat and flat cap. He's curious, yet sympathetic for Miles and leaves him mainly to get his film done. Can also appear to be firm in how Miles should treat the warehouse.

Male, aged 38 and over

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles
  • Accents: UK Cockney, UK English, UK Posh, UK Scottish, UK Welsh

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Peter's wife (Sarah) - Supporting

Sarah truly cares for Peter. Appears curious that Peter is interviewing Miles. Mainly wants to be there for Peter wherever he goes and just want her family to live a life of peace and solitude. Female, aged 27 and above

Female, aged 27 and over

  • Acting experience: Extra, Previous unpaid speaking roles, Previous paid speaking roles

Applications closed 10 March 2021.

Owen (Peter and Sarah's son) - Supporting

*NOTE* Talent will have to sign a parental agreement form* Owen wants to spend time with his father, but with Peter working as a psychologist he's never really there. Even though both don't spend much time together, Owen still loves his father deeply due to the warmth that Peter showcases. Peter's job however has made Owen extra anxious where he tends to look over his shoulder and ask many questions about his father's safety.
