Casting Director

Mermise is a language learning app. 

We are looking for a casting director to source actors, influencers and confident video makers to film skits/ content on their mobile phones to help our app users with their journey of learning a new language. You will be finding contributors worldwide who speak one of the following languages: Korean, Italian, Chinese (mandarin), French, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese and UK English. 

This casting director position is remote. You will be working from home so you can live anywhere in the world. Please note however that our office and team that work on this project are UK based so you will need to attend a few meetings during UK office times of 9am - 6pm. The UK crew will take into consideration any time difference when setting up meetings with you.
English does not need to be your first language but you must be able to speak and write in english. 

Key Responsibilities:

-Posting about the job on different casting sites

-Process applications 

-Scouting and approaching talent on social media

-Creating casting documents of applicants to present to the producer

-Confirming successful candidates
